My name is Hima, a Registered Nurse based in Canada and the founder of Velva Handcrafted Cosmetics.

Like many people, I became increasingly concerned about the harsh chemicals hiding in everyday personal care products. I wanted better for my family — cleaner ingredients, honest formulations, and products I could actually trust on our skin.

That search led me to Ayurveda, a centuries-old tradition rooted in the wisdom of natural botanicals. Ingredients like ashwagandha, tulsi, sandalwood, and licorice have been trusted for thousands of years — not just for their beautiful scents, but for their genuine skin benefits.
